YouTube which is one of the most famous video streaming sites coming from the Google’s side has announced a very exciting thing this week and according to the company they are going to support almost nine years old Microsoft browser in just two weeks of March. This announcement has been made due to the dedication of the company for the older browser support  which it had stopped some years ago and according to the company “Stopped support essentially means that some future features on YouTube will be rolled out that won’t work in older browsers”.

YouTube has implemented this restriction on other older browsers like Safari as well. Some reports also states that it is also going to stop supporting some other browsers in future and they includes: 2005′s Safari 2.x, 2006′s Firefox 2.x and 2009′s Chrome 3.x. IE6. Google has pointed out IE6 for quite some time due to being an old browser and it has also brought restriction on the support of some other Google applications like Google Documents. The users who are using the old browser will still be able to see the YouTube videos but some new facilities will not be provided that are for the latest browsers.
