Xerox Filing a Case against Google, YouTube and Yahoo over Search Patents

Xerox which is one of the most popular documents management and Services Company have filed a lawsuit against Google, YouTube and Yahoo in U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Friday and it has claimed that Google’s AdWords and AdSense services have violated the Xerox patents on automatic searching and with that it has also alleged that Yahoo search marketing, yahoo publisher network and Y! Q contextual search has infringed the patents.

The allegations which the company has filed against these sites also says that Google Maps, Google Video, YouTube has infringed the same patents and Yahoo shopping service have all infringed the company’s patents from different sources. The further comments regarding this issue by Google and Yahoo have yet not being received but the Wall street Journal has given this citation by the companies and it says that they intend to fight the charges. Thus this lawsuit have enhanced the feeling that ongoing battle among some big companies over patents can never be stopped as another such issue have been notified in US international trade commission and it is patient violation issue between Nokia and Apple.
