It seems that LG has learnt how to make a true fashion statement at some big event like MWC. Well, the Koreans new transparent phone, which is the world’s first transparent phone, at least seems to suggest so. This new LG GD900 transparent handset is quite similar to those phones that you might have seen in a Minority Report styling films.

The new LG GD900 features a transparent slider keypad and you can also use its touch sensitive hardware like a trackpad to get easy internet navigation.

When it’s slide out, the upper section begins to glow with blue light and LG says that it shows the polished and sleek silver body of the phone in a true way.

In its press release, LG seems somewhat boastful in describing its new handset as the company calls it the handset in its true purest form’ that you might have imagines before but see first time.  However, it wasn’t the only thing in our mind when developing this transparent phone, as you would also find it quite rich in nice features.

The company wasn’t willing to reveal anything about its features and specs; however, they say that it will hit the shelves in the 2nd Q of this year.
