Android mobile phone has been loved by the users ever since it hit the market. It was even considered as one of the best rivals of iPhone. But it is not all heaven; users have problems with their Android. Now be honest, don’t iPhone users have problems with the finest phone ever? In this article, I shall tell you about few such factors that Android users are not happy about regarding their phone. Let us see what these problems are:
1. Notifications are buggy and are limited too. Emails and SMS notifications are not up to the mark. There are certain actions that can be set, when an email is received, in order to notify the user. For instance, if you set the phone to vibrate twice, beep and blink once, your Android will do according to its own will, sometimes. At times your phone will blink only, or vibrate once, or do nothing at all. This is totally frustrating.
2. One cannot quit the running apps for real by holding the menu button. One does not know whether the running app has been saved or is still running when home button is pressed. There must be a simple way of quitting the running apps and clearing them from the RAM by pressing and holding down the menu button. Surely, it will help the users a lot.
3. Another concern is the arrangement and removal of the non useful apps. Why must an app that you never or rarely use stay in front of your eyes? Thus, the update must contain a solution to this problem as it is really bothering.
4. Search must be relevant, mustn’t it? So, this is not the case with Android. It simply shows up such searched items (sometimes) which are completely irrelevant. E.g. you type “Akon” and “Adward something” shows up before your searched item. Isn’t it exasperating, makers?
5. All the contacts names of whom begin with something like “T” or “Z” etc cannot be reached unless one scrolls down the whole contact list. It will be great if the upcoming cupcake update gives the option of a virtual keyboard to appear when needed, so that one can simply click on a “W” and here appears “Whitney”. This isn’t much difficult to do makers, is it?
6. There is a mysterious thing about G-mail and other mails, too. What it should be like? That when you click it, the inbox should open. Now what happens is that yeah, half of the times it will lead you to the inbox, but rest half of the times you will be led to such a mail that you were not even thinking about. Now, this is certainly mysterious. Google, why can’t you fix it for us? How about the solution in this upcoming update? We want to go to the inbox always, not to some long forgotten mail.
7. Won’t that be great if the keyboard lightens up as soon as one hits an editable text box, as the keyboard just goes dark while one is reading some text or doing any such thing.
8. There should be various profiles with different ringer settings like for office, meeting, out, night etc. Also, these profiles should be quickly switch-able. This is going to help a lot, believe me.
9. Fine, we can very well use on/off button to wake the phone up. The only query is that why does the Menu button fails to wake up the phone when it is pressed for this purpose? No comments, but don’t you think it is weird?
With this point I end up this article, hoping that Google takes these suggestions seriously, as this is nothing else than users’ demand.
