Since great deal of time, it was being speculated as to when would Sony be releasing the PSP 2? There have been so many rumors regarding the production of a new PSP till now. Recently, an insider has leaked the news of release of PSP 2 by this Christmas.
It has been said that this new PSP is going to bear all new hardware design, and the insider is one of those developers who are working on this new hardware. As expected, the informant wished to keep his name in secrecy.
The anticipated PSP 2 features a Touchscreen, which will counter Apple’s top-notch iPod Touch and iPhone. As these products are increasing gaming options day by day, this new PSP needs to have a Touchscreen. The display will slide and give way to a control pad bearing buttons and guess what! A pair of analogue sticks!!! A wow factor!
To stand against iTunes App store, this time the download service of PSP will be enhanced than before. This is the limited set of info that is available yet. To know about price, specifications, features, launch date and official photos, we all shall have to wait till Sony decides to let a word out. Anyhow, it is expected to release near Christmas.

I have already started to imagine that how would it look like, a gadget you can’t resist. But I am happy about one thing that it is expected to release near Christmas, atleast I have some time to arrange some money to buy it. Moreover the package comes with analogue sticks, this would make gaming real fun!!!
