Virgin media has not yet announced a confirm date for its 50Mb broadband service launch, but it looks that it’s due on December 15 as the company has invited journalists in a secretly kept event.
However, the company has stated earlier that the new broadband 50Mb service will be launched before the end of this year.
It is expected that the company will reveal its 50Mb broadband service (the fastest broadband service in the UK) in this mystery event.
Virgin Media seems to make that launch quite impressive, as the company has been getting ready for the launch for months. The new service will be a lot faster than currently available any other service, as Virgin Media claims.
Recently, Virgin media has publicized enough regarding failure of online speed testers to tackle the speed of this extremely fast broadband in the trail to the launch, but some main discrepancies were noticed in the public trials when the service was tested in Kent.
Recently, there were news about the release of 50Mb modem; on the other hand, the company’s spokesperson declined to comment on these speculations.
