Sometimes we get tired of the possibility of single entry in the Windows clipboard. Once we copy or cut a new text, the previous information vanishes. At times, this is utterly frustrating and annoying. In busy days, sometimes we feel the requirement of a tool that can hold more than one copied or cut text. Today, I have come up with some wonderful tools that will help you copy and cut several text parts consecutively, and choose from amongst all of them when needed. Indeed, this is going to be such a helpful article for all of you, that you shall certainly appreciate it. 1. ClipX:
This is one of the most popular clipboard replacements as it has a very tiny footprint of a mere 260 kb without any clipboard entry in place. Moreover, it is simple to use. If you press [Windows] + [V], it will pop up a menu filled with your cut or copied entries, and you can choose from those entries one you require at a certain time. By default, this app can store 25 entries, but has the capacity to stock up a huge number of 1024. Plain text, images and file paths are handled currently, though the fresh beta version has brought up some good upgrades and plug-ins.
2. ArsClip:
If you are into form filling, this tool can prove very helpful. This freeware utility for Windows clipboard has the ability to store and catalogue chosen clipboard entries permanently. With Auto-complete, you will get completed repetitive phrase though you did not complete it. Your typos are checked and corrected, too.
5. AccelClip:
It works with text as well as graphics and images, and supports editing thereof. It offers ample help with graphic samples and has a modern multi lingual interface. Selected text is saved as “clip”, and repetitively used clips can be moved from clipboard to favorites. You can edit contents of clips, as well as create and edit graphical clips.
6. Ditto:
With an easy to use interface and search option, this is a unique tool. With the help of Ditto, clipboards of multiple computers across a network can be synced. To ensure safety and security, data is encrypted when it is sent over the network. It offers thumbnail preview, and supports multiple formats.
7. Xteq URL Bandit:
This tool is used to monitor the clipboard, and it grabs all the URLs it can find. Furthermore, Bandit saves those URLs for future use, and they are not lost when you shut the computer down. It extracts all the URLs present in a copied text by analyzing the whole copied text.
Most of these above mentioned clipboard replacement tools are free to download and use, and few of them offer portable USB version, too. Though tiny, these tools prove to be a great help when we need multiple copied text consecutively.
