Lenovo is going to be the master of laptop industry very soon because the series of developments from the company is increasing day by day and this week a new update to the ThinkPad has been introduced to the whole world, this is a new series of ultraportable laptops and among them the most exciting ones are the keyboardless tablets which are also called the slates. The new ThinkPad X201 is one among them and this exciting tablet has been told to be having 21.1 inches screen and Intel core i7 processor.

Thus the international markets are getting this new trend of small tablets called slates and these handheld devices will give the facility to browse internet, play games, read e-books, and also view photos and videos. Such kinds of tablets usually have software based on screen keyboards. According to Mika Majapuro senior product marketing manager at Lenovo “Slates have promise in the consumer segment, but have limited functionality that could restrict their use in enterprises” and he further discussed that “There are not many customers who are willing to give up their keyboards” but this doesn’t means that tablets have no future in the international markets, they are an emerging trend and hopefully in future we’ll see more customer’s shift towards tablets. The one coming from Lenovo ‘X201’ is really going to be a fantastic one with windows 7 or XP platform and hard drive storage up to 500GB, so let’s wait for the new and exciting revolution.
