Having a big display in front of you with no hassle of a physical keyboard is indeed enthralling. But working on you iPad for more than 30-45 minutes is bound to give you bad pain in your arms. You certainly need an adjustable as well as collapsible stand for you iPad that can give you real “hands free” experience. Mr. Richard White, a British inventor has come up with a nice practical idea for a comfy stand that can put your arms to rest and let you work easily on your iPad.

Mr. White bought the iPad to record its effect on his kids. He says that he came up with the idea of iLapStand after closely watching his kids and how were they using the gadget. He tried hard to get a nice stand that could stay on kids’ laps and was also adjustable, but was unable to find one as most of the stands available in the market have been designed for tables instead of laps. Therefore, he designed and constructed his own stand that can be used either on a lap or on a table.

These stands are available in either wood or aluminium. Certainly, the aluminium stand costs more than the wood stand. Both kinds are adjustable to provide required angle to the user. Certainly, this is a great invention that is bound to help a lot of iPad users all round the world.
