You might be hearing the news of the two upcoming Smartphone by the Android king HTC, the HTC Desire HD and the Desire Z that are expected to hit the market next month but being a king HTC has not stopped the series of its development.
According to Global Certification Forum filings and also on the Verizon’s database the new phone named ‘HTC Merge’ has been spotted. This new handset is reported to be much more powerful than any previous one released by the company for the android market.

The specifications and features of this phone have been traced only from some rumors because the company is up till now quite silent about the release of this phone. According to rumors the new handset will be based on the android platform and with that it is going to have 10MP camera and a faster 1GHz processor.
Some rumors are also claiming this one to be more a tablet than justa handset but as we know rumors can get confirmed only after the official announcement so we have to wait until HTC officially show what it is going to bring for the android market. This thing is almost confirm that the new member is coming for the android family either it is a tablet or a Smartphone.
