3G S is difficult to tell apart from 3G as there is no significant difference between both the phones except few slight changes. The screen of 3G S has been protected from dust and fingerprints by oleophobic coating, which makes the screen more reflective than before.

The startup time has reduced to half the time older model took; even the apps load faster than before. Camera results are better than of 3G, and video recording option has been introduced. Compass, Nike+ support, better battery life and compass are great changes.
