Kapil Sibal, Telecom and Information Minister of India called upon representatives of Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo and registered complaints about the offensive material which has been published through various sources. Kapil is of the point of view that above mentioned companies should be sensitive to Indian sensibilities.

In this website, people have pointed fingers on the Italian Origin of this lady and she has been accused of some scandals which raised questions about her credibility as leader of one of the most prominent political party of India.

In a meeting, Kapil Sibal has asked all the companies to screen material but unfortunately no action has been taken and companies has rejected this request of removal of offensive material with the answer that they have been working within the defined American standards of Freedom of Expression.

For months, rumors have been circulating that UberMedia wanted to buy Tweet Deck for $30 million in cash and is trying to do the deal but it looks Twitter has finally won this deal. The joint venture has not been officially announced and Twitter is not interested in commenting on the rumors.

Wall Street Journal reports that the estimated value of the blue bird is about $8 billion to $10 billion!!!

In 2010, Twitter earned revenue of $45 million and its estimated 2011 revenue is $100 to $110 million. The social network has 175 million registered users till date.

Whether its Google or Facebook that succeeds in acquiring Twitter, this is assured that Twitter will not remain the same! Both Google and Facebook have this passion of adding new services and features. The simple status updating will surely become something way more complex.

News is that Andreesen Horowitz; the venture capital firm has bought $80 million of shares in Twitter. The said firm already holds shares in social gaming hub Zynga, Groupon and Facebook.
