The social networking site seemed to take a breather during May, when the number of unique visitors almost got halted, but it was in June again when it got some momentum.

Some stats from comScroe indicate that the site succeeded to attract over 20.1m unique visitors in the United States that was nearly 14% up from May.

It is a healthy month over month rate, but it’s not according to the growth resumption which the site has experienced earlier this year. There was 21% increase in page views that hit 628 million. These estimates are only about its Website, as nearly 50% of the site happens to offsite.

Digital Sky Technologies has decided to pay a hefty $200m to get even less than percent of the social networking site Facbook. TechCrucnh has just given details of a newly released exclusives video about Facebook’s new investment talk between Yuri Milner and Mark Zuckerberg. Let’s find out what they say about this new venture.

Facebook owner, Zuckerberg has said previously that they were looking to rise further, but at the valuation of only $15b. However, right now the have succeeded to increase nearly $10b and they are still saying that their profits are on the rise and don’t want it right now. The issue was again discussed in the interview, but again there was an evasive answer.

Milner, the owner of Digital Sky Technologies, has appeared as quite a colorful character in the interview. He was the first Russian who did an American MBA in 1992. He had some investment banking jobs offers in the US, but the preferred to return his country to make the most of the developing free markets.

Milner owned Digital Sky Technology has also made investment in Mail.ru that is considered Russian Yahoo and the company also has stake in Vkontakte.ru that has emerged as the biggest social networking site in Russia with more than 34m users. There is a great similarity between Facebook and Vkontakte.

Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg says about the investment that many people are asking about the details and about our platform strategy, as they want to know the way system is evolving in a more open and clearer way.

FaceBook lately has been considered to be the third most addictive thing in a recent list that was published in UK. There were only the likes of coffee and chocolate ranked above this social networking site. There was a recent study conducted that involved 3000 people under the age of 30 and was specially made to correspond with the launch of ‘Rehab’ on Living channel. They made an effort to track down the 10 most popular addictions.

FaceBook is the most contemporary addiction and is not far behind the very addictive coffee and chocolate; however, it is amazing to see that even celebrity gossips as well as the Blackberry/iPhone have a mention in the list. All the participants involved in the research were required to answer the necessary questions on these substances and the habits that they tend to spend the most on. They were also asked to quit and their impulses were measured thereafter. Distinguished in their approach are the cigarettes and alcohol that suggested a denial were also a part of such a research.

A majority of people have successfully admitted that they are addicted to what’s called the ‘FaceBook Suicide’. The list also features the other modern addictions such as the beauty products, junk food, checking bank accounts, celebrity gossips, exercise and retail therapies.
