This thing has been reported that the Wave software engineers are collaborating in this project with staffers from University of Chicago Hospital’s Pediatric Epilepsy Center.

It has been notified that almost 3 million people in US have epilepsy and some of the cases are quite severe that patients could have seizures a day. According to Cinquegrani “Some people are in danger of dying from it”.

A small prototype has been developed that includes a small 16 channels amplifier and it would be attached via sensors to the patient’s head. The Wave technology is really working for a very fantastic device and if it gets successful then it would be a great help for the epileptic patients.
