One thing about the iPhone’s screen is that it is very durable for crashes as after many crashes on the ground it only gets little scratches but the blackberry’s body gets scratched even when twisted on the table which is a fun for many people.

Both the iPhone and blackberry are strong carriers of email facility and there is a slight difference in the performance. On the iphone we can say that the email facility is just second to none and this might be because of the new and fast web on the iphone. More to the point, the release of the iPhone 3GS coincides with the launch of iPhone OS 3.0, a major jump from previous versions of the system software featuring highly sought after features like cut, copy, and paste, stereo Bluetooth, MMS, tethering, video recording, landscape keyboard options for more applications, and an iPhone version of Spotlight. At 3.5 inches and 480×320 pixels, the display is the same size as its predecessor, but displays slightly more dots per inch (163 vs.160), and still cranks out brilliant colors, sharp graphics, and fluid movements.

Limitations:

The iPhone’s 2-megapixel camera is one of the worst we have encountered, especially at this price point. The picture quality is average but it’s the bare-bones camera software that has disappointed us most. No flash, no auto-focus, no digital zoom, no adjustments in size or quality, no color filters. Other than that it lacks some very basic features like the life of the battery is very uneven. The 3G connection provided by the Apple iPhone is also very shaky. The synchronizing of the email has lots of faults associated with it.

2. Motorola Droid

Motorola has been never very consistent in providing the quality cell phones but with the DROID, the company has perhaps created its most attractive and intriguing piece of technology yet which will praised for years. At first glance you might not think that the Motorola Droid design amounts to much. Its build isn’t unique and the sharp angles result in a somewhat boxy look. If you’re wondering about performance, you can breathe a sigh of relief… kind of. Yes, there is a noticeable bump in speed when switching applications on the phone, scrolling through lists, and generally getting any basic tasks done.

At 0.54 inch thick, the Droid is slightly beefier than the 0.48-inch-thick iPhone 3GS, but it still has room for a 40-key, slide-out QWERTY keypad. At just under 6 ounces, it’s about an ounce heftier than the iPhone 3GS. When closed, the 4.56-by-2.36-inch Droid is almost the same size as the 4.5-by-2.4-inch iPhone 3GS.

Limitations:

One bad feature is that of the keyboard though many users will welcome a physical keyboard, but still some weren’t particularly impressed. The keys are flush and squashed next to each other, which makes it difficult to text quickly or by feel. Also, though the buttons do give a slight downward “push,” they’re a bit slick and people felt thrown off by the “dummy keys” on either end of the bottom row. The Droid is also missing physical Talk and End keys, which are pretty much standard on every other cell phone ever made. You must access these controls from the call application.

3. HTC Hero

In terms of overall design and layout, the Hero is very much a product of evolution. Like its forebears the G1 (or Dream) and MyTouch (or Magic / Ion), the general stats like screen size, technology, and resolution, button placement, unit size and weight, and basic aesthetic are pure HTC. The Hero’s 5 megapixel camera is pretty darn amazing, we must say.
