This Vaio netbook from Sony is one of the cheapest in the market. It costs only about £399. The Tech Radar system in the last few hours of testing out Sony’s first netbook offers the really new look and functions to the Vaio. It is delightful to work on such a phenomenal netbook which is officially being called the “chic mini notebook” as well.
The press coverage for this special netbook has been really well and enthusiastic. The people at Sony specify this as a “netbook spec” with the familiar feature of A-list programs that are present in several netbooks from Sony. It works on an Intel Atom Processor N280 with a 1.660 GB. It has WiFi facility, blue tooth, Motion Eye webcam as well as some USB ports.
The Vaio W is a new model at the market with a very shiny body and this also comes at a lower price than most other Vaios released so far. This is more like a budget netbook that is expected to come from Sony in a big way. You can even read over the reviews of TechRadar and be out there checking its competitive pricing with some of the lower budget netbook releases like MSI, Asus, Medion and Acer. However most of these other brands will offer you prices below £300.
The launch will be in late August with a decent deal from retailer if you happen to be one of those early bird people. You can easily shell out £100 more for this grand product with the additional features that you will receive which are not really present in the rest of the netbook companies available in the market. And if you are a Vaio fan and have been longing to get one of their products but have been shirking to buy it then this one is the right thing for you.
Apart from these reasons you can really justify the money with the quality. You get a fully spaced out keyboard even in this little wonder that makes it easy for you to work. You will receive great benefits with its ultra portability and the promises and tests all prove to be really very desirable overall. This netbook is even better to have than the rather overpriced Sony Vaio P Ultra portable one.
It has a mini isolated keyboard but it is on the whole a wonderful machine to work with. You will not be bashing against the neighboring keys while working. There are too many cheap and bouncy keys coming with netbooks now. So this concern itself gets eliminated through the Vaio model. Writing, blogging or any amount of high speed typing can be done effectively but not as fast as you might like it to be. There are also extreme benefits of using the photo library and iPlayer on your machine.
The screen may be a bit too small but the resolution is good enough with a 40 inch high definition that works right as well for purpose of watching cinemas and videos. It is one of the best screens you will have come across among most netbooks in the world. According to Sony people it is about to give you a “vibrant” experience with its “stunning” looks.
High definition movies might not be ideal to watch here but for most things to watch this resolution happens to be perfect. The Atom processor comes with a 1 GB RAM and there are processes through which you can upgrade to a 2 GB RAM as well!
