With a striking design and a Core 2 Duo processor inside; this is Sony’s brand new creation in Vaio series, the VGN-FW351JH. Blu-ray combo drive is the main feature due to which this laptop stands out amidst its rivals.

With white keys of keyboard and speakers situated above it, this attractive notebook is available in an eye catching color; Titanium Grey. Keyboard is the typical-Sony; flat and low profile. Power on/off button glows green when laptop is switched on and shines tawny when it is switched off. To the top right of keyboard, user defined media keys are present.

It has a 16.4” wide screen display, with a relatively low resolution, that being one drawback. Music box regulates your music affairs and listens to your mood. You will find 3 USB ports, a mini Fire-Wire port and memory card reader. Perhaps the best feature of this laptop is Blu-ray drive.

The notebook comes with a one year warranty period. A 24/7 support is also provided to the customers for any question they want to ask.

Also, it was tested for performance along with other laptops. It stood last amongst Dell, HP, Asus and Gateway in Multimedia Multitasking Test, Adobe Photoshop CS3 image-processing test, Apple iTunes encoding test; and stood second last in video payback battery drain test.

Final Words:

Though the performance level is relatively low and the price is quite high, the Blu-ray drive and attractive design are positive features to buy this new gadget.
