The main attractive feature of this phone is its light weight and smart style with the razor-sharp 3.5″, 16:9 ratio wide screens. Its touch screen is very well positioned and most of the functions are in the thumb’s reach.
Now coming to the main feature, 12-megapixel camera with its very fast shutter capturing a moving object is not a big deal. The focusing and the face detection mode are remarkably nice and you can even focus by tapping the screen. Skin tones are excellent, displaying tonal changes accurately and the Xenon flash works well too, easily illuminating indoor shots. However, indoors image noise creeps in, even when the sensitivity is as low as ISO 200. This Picture quality is the main reason for this mobile’s success. It’s a real crowd-pleasing feature and no doubt plenty of people will buy it purely on that basis.

There are some problems with this new generation mobile as well. The first and for most is its low internal memory storage and that is only 128mb storage but its 8GB SD card is also available. But this minute problem can’t make people oversee the plethora of advantages.

The most noticeable other feature is the Sony Satio’s compatibility with ‘Play Now’, a new online interface that allows users to personalize their Satio’s entertainment facilities. Anyone familiar with iTunes will no doubt notice Play Now’s uncanny resemblance. The interface within the Satio is simply stunning and Sony Ericsson has incorporated some fantastic visuals. Connectivity when using the Satio is made easy enough with the inclusion of built-in WiFi while Bluetooth facilities and a USB port makes sharing as easy as ever. It’s connectivity to the internet is also remarkable. Another exciting feature is its direct link with youtube and BBC itunes which helps in fast video sharing over the internet across the whole world.

It could be better said that anyone who wants his mobile to perform tasks better than the conventional digital cameras should buy new Sony Ericson satio for sharp capturing of photos and videos. The scenes which were kept unrecorded due to bad light will now be best recorded due to the Xenon flash. It is not just a phone it’s a full camcorder with having a very light weight and sleek and stylish outlook.
