Android battle is becoming fierce, do you agree? You should because all the tech giants are busy in exploring their efforts in order to present themselves as King of the battle. Apart from introducing new and improved Android gadgets, tech leaders have also devoted their energies to modify the old ones. One of the latest example is set by Samsung by upgrading Galaxy S II with Ice-Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0).
Upgraded Samsung Galaxy S II will be soon available in European countries, modification has already started in Sweden, Korea, Hungary and Poland. Last year, Samsung accomplished the upgrading phase of Galaxy gadgets to Gingerbread and provided modified software’s to Froyo as well as Gingerbread. Samsung proved itself a leader of Android gadgets when it upgraded Ice Cream Sandwich.
While announcing the software upgrade, President of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics JK Shin said, “We expect that our customers will enjoy an enhanced experience with their GALAXY device through this upgrade. Samsung is committed to satisfying our customer needs.”
Following Samsung Gadgets will be available in the end of March with firmware Android 2.3 Gingerbread;

- Galaxy S Plus
- Galaxy S SCL
- Galaxy W
Samsung has also devised software upgrading to future and soon GALAXY NOTE, GALAXY R, GALAXY SII LTE, GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus, GALAXY Tab 7.7, GALAXY Tab 8.9 and GALAXY Tab 10.1 will be offered with android 4.0 ICS Software.
