You cannot only use this headset wirelessly, but the included 3.5 mm headset jack enables you to benefit from the device by pairing it with non wireless and non Bluetooth devices too. Indeed this is a great feature that assures you that your money doesn’t go wasted.

This is one of the latest Bluetooth headsets from Samsung, after SBH500 and the SBH700 that appeared few years back in the market. It isn’t only the most recent, but the voice quality and other features rank it as the best Samsung Bluetooth headset yet. Because of the big size (but not quite too big), this headset is suitable to use while traveling or being at home; but you wont be able to use it in gym. For sport activities, this headset is certainly not fit.

The headband is adjustable and padded, whereas there are two cushioned ear cups that sit cozily on the outside of one’s ears. Also, these ear cups can be folded inwards for portability purposes. Comfort level is awesome, and it feels great when the earphones sit around the outer ear snugly. Due to this tight fitting of earphones around the ears, outer noise is automatically cancelled, thus rendering a wonderful audio experience.

Let’s talk about the functions and controls, now. When we look at the left ear cup, there is a tiny power button on the front and a multifunction call button towards the rear. Volume rocker rests at the bottom of the very cup. The left cup holds most of the controls as it also bears the 3.5 millimeter headset jack at the underside. The right ear cup has sound mode toggle on the front (with Normal, Wide and Bass controls), the Play/ Pause/ Stop button is towards the back, and track shuttle keys underneath. Also, the bottom side holds the charger jack. Though the multifunction call buttons and the Play/ Pause/ Stop buttons are more like tiny spots; they are protruded enough to be felt by touch. Volume rocker and track shuttle keys are concrete and nice to use.

It supports AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) that enables the user to control the media player (to which it is paired) through the Bluetooth headset. The audio quality is high and promising. You will certainly find the bass booster and widening surround sound modes awe-inspiring.

As far as call quality is concerned, the user can hear loud and clear voice, but the next party faces trouble listening to the user. Though both can understand each other, but the headset does not deliver an ideal call quality.
