Apple has attained the status of pioneer in technology world. The kind of products Apple comes up with is not just highly purposeful, but unique too. Who had thought of iPhone and Apple TV a decade ago? Finest thing about Apple is the on going struggle to improve their manufactured goods. A similar attempt has been made by the leading group recently.
Apple has filed a Patent application in US patent and Trademark office lately, for an invention which manages a media system through a wireless controller. It has named this specific controlling device “Wand.”
It is being said that this device has been invented to use with Apple TV. In summary of the Patent
application, it is written, “The media system may include an electronic device, a screen, and a wand. The electronic device may be operative to provide a media application to the user. The electronic device may direct the screen to display the interface of the media application so that the user may interact with the media application.” This certainly points toward Apple TV, doesn’t it?
Else than movies and pictures, this wand may be a remote control for gaming on Apple TV. The successful past experiments like gaming on iPhone might have made Apple confident enough to take gamers from palm gaming to Big Screen experience. Though wand is anticipated to control lot of applications on Apple TV; much interest rests with the gaming part.
With the TV as a screen and a remote wand as the controls, gaming would be much more than a mere hobby. Wait for these rumors get clad into concrete news and announcements. Gratifyingly, a TV Gaming Mania lies ahead.
