The founder and CEO of Respawn, Vince Zampella has now confirmed the sequel of Titanfall to be released for PC, Xbox One and PS4. This was disclosed just before the BAFTA Game Awards on March 12.

Titanfall is a first-person shooter multiplayer game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It was released in March 2014 and generally received favorable reviews from the critics. However, it is only available on Xbox and Microsoft Windows. While talking to media, Zampella communicated that the Titanfall 2 will be a multiplatform title and will also be released on PlayStation.

It has also been reported that Titanfall sequel is already in the works, but no specific title is decided for it yet. Moreover, the developers have also revealed they are considering to change the DLC model of the Titanfall 2 that will feature free maps for everyone. The currently available Titanfall offers multiple maps in purchasable titles, which split the community and make it hard for matchmaking.

According to Zampella, the sequel will ‘expand the lore’ of Titanfall. In the meantime, we will try to dig out whether the new game will introduce the single-player component or not.
