Nissan 370z Comes With Elevated Price Tag

Nissan has come forward with its new 2009 model 370z on Tuesday. The new model has remarkable changes in design, size and features. As it is said, ‘everything has a price’, but this thing has its price on the higher side. The beauty is priced $30,625 (for manual), shipping charges added.

This model comes in two versions, base, and Touring models. The price of base Touring model is $35,155, and for automatic $36,455. The Touring model has been designed with professional delicacy. The overall length has been shortened whereas the wheel base has been increased in length. The overall width has been increased by 1.3 inches. The height has also been reduced by 0.3 inches. Light in weight and rigid materials have been used in order to decrease the weight and increase the durability of the car.

Al Castignetti, Vice President Sales, Nissan Division says, “The fresh character of the 2009 Nissan 370Z is immediately apparent in the crisp new exterior design, which is sportier yet still immensely identifiable as a Nissan z”. He further says, “One usually thinks of evolution as being linear. The new 370Z’s ‘super evolution’ builds on the best features of both the first and last generations Z–cars – respectful but not retro, simple yet sophisticated, and 110 percent pure ZÒ.”

It is for the first time in z generation that the car has aluminum door panels, aluminum hood and an aluminum hatch. In previous models, the used steel enforcements. The overall rigidity has been increased by 30%.
All in all, the new model with its high price has a lot to offer, not only exteriorly but also interiorly. The car been seen in “Need For Speed”, as Nissan has chosen this game for publicity.
