Well, almost all game-enthusiasts reckoning GDC something all about streaming fun via set-top boxes and 3D games, but Nintendo seems to pick the other way at least its revealing of  new Zelda for DS suggests so.

Yup! It’s true. While addressing to a huge crowd at GDC auditorium in San Francisco, Nintendo’s CEO Satoru Iwata says: “You will find a new title for the DSi named Spirit Tracks that is expected to be launched in the later half of this year.”

No details have been provided yet so stay tuned for them.

Before announcing about the launch of the new Zelda, Mr Iwata seemed to go through the similar hogwash that reminded people the huge success of their DS and Wii and repeated the impressive but worn sales figures.

Gamers are also looking for Rock n Roll Climber, a new title for Wii developed by Giles Goddard’s popular Vitei studio.

With this Rock n Roll Climber title, the gamers will be able to use Wiimote for controlling their hands as well as Wii Fit balance for controlling their feet.

Those who love retro gaming, they will find a hand full of classic titles at Virtual Console Arcade that will be available soon.  From there, you will soon be able to download Mappy, Souvalou, Druaga, Space Invaders and a lot more.

There is also news (though not ground breaking) the Wii will also be able to run and store games via SD cards that might be of 32GB capacity.
