It has been seen that New York Times has announced that they are going to charge for the online news in the start of 2011, this news has created many different thoughts in the minds of people like why they have announced so early? But it can be expected that from this announcement that the Times want to challenge other news papers of getting online so that till 2011 more companies start charging the online news and people don’t feel it odd to pay a fee for the online news to the Times.

Currently the most famous news source online is that of Google and it might get online till that time and it might be ultimately replaced by a partially paid site but nothing could be said clearly. According to some experts many news related companies are looking to move into the online business and until the next year the competition of the online news might get raised to a huge extent. It can also be expected that the news media gets into collaboration with each other and from one subscription the readers might be able to see the news of others as well. So eventually when people will see the subscription fees from the other sources as well they won’t hesitate to subscribe for the Times.
