This Tuesday Lenovo has made its promise (of bringing tablet) true in front of the whole world and unveiled the latest Smartbook and tablet/laptop. The new Smartbook by Lenovo has shaken the whole mobile phone industry, it is in fact a mini laptop called skylight which is combining the capabilities of a netbook and Smartphone. With a weight of 1.95 pounds it is a very light weight device which resembles to a netbook with its 10.1 inch screen.

Lenovo is thus one of the early Laptop makers which are combining a netbook and a Smartphone but the main thing which can take this product ahead in the market is its cost. This decision by Lenovo to bring a low cost Smartbook in the market is expected to become a big source in changing the trends of laptops in the market. Nowadays Smartbook is expected to get more famous than Netbook mainly because of the battery life and quicker startup. This Smartbook is expected to be available in the US by April and starting price as announced will be $499 and then shortly after it will be available in Asia and Europe as announced by the company.
