At CeBit 09, MSI,s booth is quite evident of the fact that slim ultra portable notebook will be a new major mobile computing category during this year.

Aside from X-Slim, X340 and X600s (all seem greatly inspired with MacBook Air), there is Wind netbooks and new ranges of large gaming laptops including MSI high-end notebooks.

At Consumer Electronic Show, the company has offered some glimpses of its X-Slim, and now the company has come forward with its latest sexy laptop at CeBit during this week. Both these machines boast Intel ULV architecture for high performances and energy-efficient advantages.

MSI doesn’t contrive about taking inspiration from Apple’s MacBook Air and laptops, however, what the company is planning for is to make these machines available to those consumers at more agreeable price than the Apple’s lapies.

The X340, the thickest in the line, is of just 2mm thickness and specs are quite similar that have been made available in the X320 that we seen at CES. It has a 13” LED display and weighs just 3kg. It’s a real notebook that you can easily carry around everywhere and gives a perfect answer to many of those portable needs that you have been looking for quite some time in a perfect laptop.
