Sony has always capture the attention of the audience with something that they demand and this time Sony has launched new SD memory cards for the consumers to provide them more options. Sony has recently launched the new Essential Series, Value-Added Series and high speed Expert Series SDHC cards for the consumers so that they can decide what kinds of SDHC cards they want to use in their gadgets. All the three SDHC series work perfectly with CyberShot Handycam or a DSLR camera. However, the same SDHC cards can also be used with other camcorders and digital cameras of different brands.

The Essential Series is almost like an entry level SDHC card that is available in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacity. These entry level SDHC cards are great for boosting your regular memory space to something extra and can be used in normal camcorders and digital cameras if you are interested in photography or videos. It is also convenient for storing other data like music files and gaming data. On the other hand the Value-Added Series is available in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities and provides better and versatile experience to the consumers. It supports the data transfer speed up to 15Mbps and if you love shooting videos or pictures through your DSLR camera or through handycam then these SDHC cards will work perfectly fine.

The Expert Series as the name suggest is meant for professionals who require more space and memory because of the applications and gadgets that they use. The Expert Series SDHC card is ideal for full HD video shooting and for continuous burst shooting. The file transfer speed is 22 Mbps and you can get some high quality pictures and videos if you use these SDHC cards in your DSLR camera or handycam.
