Toolbars might be fussy for people, but there are people who like the feasibility of required features at hand. Google toolbar is liked by the users for its functionality level, and for the performance it renders. Now, Google has added to the charm by adding three new features to its toolbar which will improve and enhance its standard. These newly added features are well known “Labs”, “My Location” and “Simplified Chinese” feature.
“Labs” has been popular since it was introduced in the Gmail where it helped the users to perform many striking actions e.g. saving the mails, archiving them and having multiple email inboxes at a same page. “Google Labs” has also gained significant popularity amongst masses, and this is why a huge applaud from users is expected at the advent of Labs in Google toolbar. This is important to know that this feature can only be availed if you are using Internet Explorer.
In Sep 2008, “My Location” was launched for mobiles. Afterwards, this function was brought to computers when the increase in usage of portable computers was noticed. With this feature on your toolbar, automatically the Google Maps and the included Maps gadget will position themselves at the user’s current location. Search for a Mexican Cuisine and you will get the results that will be closest to your location.
The simplified Chinese feature will allow the users to translate the page with a single click, along with the ability to manage bookmarks in a new side bar. As the Labs versions are not well tested like beta versions; they may work not as efficiently as is being anticipated.
