The images to take on your mobile phones most of the time have almost no other use beyond MMS, occasional emails and standby screens savers, but now NEC is aiming to change all that with its new chip and sensor package that is being hyped as to enhance camera performance up to dedicated digicams.
This new LSI CE143 package will be capable to handle more than 12mp for still photography, as well as it processes HD video. A new and faster image-enhancement and face recognition technology has been offered in it that (according to NEC claims) would remove degradation in digital zooming.
This new chip will be available in some mobile phones by the end of this year, and all its quality claims would be better judged at that time. But we can hope that it will definitely do well especially with its nice and decent lens that promises to provide you a lot better experience of cthan that of the previous old and messy digital zooms.
