Motorola is “Thinking Big”

Apple has already become apple’s of everyone eye. Globally, it gained fame as the best Gadget provider. Knowing this fact, Motorola has marked it as its number one competitor especially in the field of best Tablets.

Apple has become a role model for the other Tablets providers. Many companies after it plunged into this field, because all were aware that profit potential exists in Tablet market. Motorola also introduced its Tablet in the form of Motorola Xoom at CES 2011. On the other hand, Apple launched iPad2 on 2nd March 2011 and set new standards for its competitors.

Motorola is still very optimistic. Andy Hooper who is director of Motorola said, “I think opportunity is there (to take on Apple), they are a competitor to have because they set a great benchmark. There was absolute no surprise around what they did with the iPad 2, and my own thought is that they could have done more. But it moves quickly that there is no resting on laurels anywhere and ultimately we have to go out and bring a quality product to market”

Motorola is setting up to launch Xoom 2 in future. It seems to be that Motorola is working on the strategy of continuous innovation to compete with its rivals.
