Most of Heavy PC users not using mobile devices to access internet

A new survey, conducted by comScore, shows that there is a considerable increase in internet access via mobile, but now its mass market instead of early adopters who are suffering internet through cell phone.

It was in October last year when the company conducted its first mobile internet and PC users study in the United States. The results of the study showed that they were light PC internet user than the excessive PC internet users who liked using mobile devices to get access for online content.

It was found that nearly 42m Americans used their cell phone to access online content through mobile phones during October 08 that were nearly 57% more than the same period last year.

According to this new survey, almost 15% light PC users surfed online content on their cell phones at least once in a week, while only 12% heavy PC users were doing so.

The study also found that most of mobile internet users were male and aged between 18 to 44 years.
