Microsoft is planning to provide the facility of fair gaming for its users and to implement this plan Microsoft has banned almost many people for modifying Xbox 360 units from Xbox live.

The Primary aim of the gamers for this modification is to create pirated modifications which could affect the sale of Microsoft. According to a rough estimate more than 600,000 users will be affected by this decision among the 20 million users present throughout the globe. It has been reported that Microsoft is planning to ban about 1 million people by the end of this year. Microsoft has not yet declared that how these pirate’s are identified but they confirmed that it is possible to do so remotely.
This is a very bold step on the part of Microsoft but this decision will give the better game playing facilities and equal rights for all the customers, now there would be no discrimination among the prices of this packages. But this is not a full solution to the problem as Microsoft is preventing the game play online but pirated game play would continue to be available offline. So there must be some action taken which will prevent the offline piracy violation as well.
