Microsoft Office certainly is one of the most widely used software suite and to ensure that they get better market share, Microsoft has now announced that they will officially launch a new app for the Android tablets that will allow tablet users to make use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint on their midsize devices. Microsoft said that they are glad that they are coming up with the new app that will offer better flexibility to the Android users. The company also revealed that the new app will work similar to their iOS version allowing users to edit their documents, presentations and spreadsheets and they can also sync with OneDrive that would offer better mobility.

Microsoft also said that like the iOS counterparts Android users will be able to browse and open their files directly from their OneDrive or from their Dropbox account. There are simple and handy templates that would allow users to quickly create their documents and presentations the way they want it. In November 2014, Microsoft decided to bring out the preview of their apps and decided to take some feedback from the people who tested it. The new app will require you to sign in using your Microsoft account and if you don’t have one you can sign up for one from the app.
