It is something that is catching up a lot of interest these days. Suddenly, everybody on the internet was caught up with an addiction called FaceBook. There were people playing games, catching up on old friends, sending virtual gifts, flirting with people and in simple words, addicted to the site. Within a short spam of time it has millions of users registered on the site and the progress seemed to be never-ending.

Facebook’s achievement has been overwhelming. In almost five years, FaceBook has grown from being zero to a genuinely massive phenomenon. Even though it is extraordinary in its own way, the growth is supposed to stop after a point. The way these social networking sites operate is that you invite your friends, then they invite their own set of friends and that’s exactly how you set up your own network. There would be a point that everyone you know would be available on FaceBook and there won’t be many people left to be added.

There are a lot of cases in which the FaceBook users regret of adding an individual on the site and hence there are a number of people withdrawing from the sites taking a lot of aspects into consideration. Security is one of the biggest threats to such networking sites and people are not feeling safe anymore. There would be an instance where you would be bored of the usual friend requests and the same old applications and you would start your hunt for something new.
