Is Google Wave the Solution to Social Network Over-Sharing?

One of the major problem of the social networking sites is that things you share through it go to people you have befriended no matter who they are be it relatives, soccer buddies, co-workers or your boss. But very few people want to share everything with everyone they know. Google Wave continues to be inkling in Google engineers’ eyes whereby the company makes source code available to select developers today.

The basic element of this service is known as the Wave, whereby it can be a simple text message, photos, videos or other content. It works as an email whereby you can choose exactly which of your contacts you want to share the Wave with. Everybody in the group can make a comment or ask questions. One can see the comment in real time or you can see chronologically how the wave developed.

Google wave is one where a person can exactly target the people with whom he/she want to share a comment with be it a photo, video o anything else. Each wave is more or less than a new Facebook page that is created purposely to share a specific piece of content with a selected group of friends. Google Wave will thus bring the solution to the social networking which many people have been looking forward to it. The good thing about Google Wave is that it makes it easy to send a tweet from wave which will be an advantage to many.
