Irate Hackers are not yet calmed down as they have hacked Sony Music Greece and Japan websites. Now Sony has confirmed the security breach on its Greek Sony Music Entertainment Web site on Sunday and has immediately stopped the services. The site was hacked by a simple SQL injection attack. This attack must have easily given hackers the access to user’s personal information including usernames, passwords, real names, and email addresses. News is that about 8500 accounts have been hacked.

Reports are Sony Music. co.jp had been hacked on Friday and the theft of $1,200 worth of virtual tokens was the result of this hack-attack into a Japanese ISP subsidiary. In Thailand and Indonesia Sony Music Websites are also reported to be attacked by hackers. Indonesia site has also been changed.

It is still not known who is behind these Sony attacks. These hackers are not only attacking all Sony sites but Sony’s repute has also gotten into stake because of its previous security violations. This whole data breach can cause almost $1 billion loss to the company. The company is expecting to have a of US$3.2 billion net loss for the fiscal year ending in March while trying to recover from Tsunami Damages in Japan. PlayStation Network and Qriocity services will soon be restored by Sony. Sony Music users are advised to change their passwords regularly as it is not known how long this clash between Sony and Hackers will go on.
