iPod connectivity for Pioneer’s AV receivers

The SC-LX72 and SC-LX82 are two upcoming receivers of Pioneer’s coming AV range. Recently, Pioneer has given some exclusive glimpse of the coming range to TechRadar.

iPod ConnectivityThere is no detail about the pricing yet, these new receivers are expected to hit the shelves in September this year and they will be available with some really impressive features this time that include iPhone and iPod connectivity.

In the demo, it was shown that connecting an iPod with the new receiver range is quite easier now with the help of newly developed cables. So, now it has become quite easier for you to access your music collection instantly and bring it to the audio setup of your AVRs.

Right at that time, Pioneer is considering audio as its real point to focus again, as they have recently announced in a conference that they want to focus again on audio which was their original heritage.

“We have the same passion for audio, as this passion is the part of Pioneer’s DNA; we are not going to change it, but just trying to regain our core.”

According to reports, dual HDMI, Advanced MCACC room calibration, use PQLS, video upscaling are some other features of the coming receivers. Ethernet streaming capabilities have also been given, but according to Pioneer, they will be available only in audio.
