You can play video, send emails, access to web and get nice imaging with your iPhone, but did you ever reckon it as a device to control your car? If not, it’ time to shake your head a bit and think again, as Rinspeed is going to unveil an electric car that will be controlled by the iPhone.
The iChange is about to ditch car keys for an iPhone that can be clipped in a holder on the dashboard to the left or right of some steering wheel. After connecting to green start button that emerges on iPhone display, it can bring the car into full swift. You can use iPhone to control other functions to switch on and off the vehicle headlights.
However, the car is not just about the iPhone, as it seems that Rinspeed is looking for revolutionizing people thoughts with this vehicle.
Most of the cars can carry only a limited number of passengers with their limited seats and the whole vehicle has to depend on it. The space of some vehicle doesn’t change even when you travel alone. The aerodynamics of this car as well as fuel consumption tied to fixed number of passengers.
But this iChange is different with its single seater pod-shaped whose roof pops up to provide room for two more passengers.
The car has been powered with Lithium Ion batteries and its adaptive body is being considered the greatest innovation in the vehicle.
