Google’s Blue Dot
Yesterday Google has announced a very exciting blue dot feature for the mobile version of Google products search that will show that if the products is available in the stocks or not. According to many people this decision poses to be a threat to startup Milo whose main feature is to show the inventory in the products search both on the web and mobile devices as well. It has been found out that Milo instantly responded to this news of Google with a tweet that says “Google Product Search has availability for 5 retailers vs. Milo’s 49. Super cool web service, bro.”
The TechCrunch team asked for an additional response from Milo on which they sent a picture in which you can see many of the faces of people who were once part of Google’s original team and with that the Co-founder of Milo Jack Abraham said that they are not saying that they are a next Google but they are just adding a flavor of humor into this whole situation. The company also told that they are not afraid of Google because their lineup up of retailers is more than double as compared to the registered retailer stores of Google because at the time of launch Google has partnership with the best buys only like Sears, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and West Elm while the list of merchants of Milo ranges very high by having best buys to the regional level department stores.
