Google, Intel and Sony Shaking Hands to the New Web TV Platform

Google has been rumored to be thinking of bringing the web based TV and now this rumor has got the status of reality because according to the latest new, Google has teamed up with Intel and Sony to bring the complete web available on the TV. This new report has been provided by FT and according to that the companies will announce “significant breakthrough into consumer electronics and the broadcast industry” later this week with the launch of a so-called “Smart TV” platform. With this new move, Google is actually creating its dominance over the television industry as it does have over the computer industry.

Bringing on web on the internet is not a very new thing and there are many TVs available in the market that allows access to the internet but their access is limited and Google is planning to break all those limits. The news relating to these new plans of the companies has also been seen on the New York Times and according to that Google with other two companies is interested in “extending their dominance of computing to the living room”.  It is also expected that Google will call on its android developers community this week to create some custom applications for Sony’s new appliances especially TVs. Thus this can be now undoubtedly said that Google is very active in bringing this new goody for the television industry and sooner this internet giant is going to rock this new industry as well.
