The pages are very attractive with a splendid picture in the home page. With simple text and lots of white space, the pages are so simple. The blue and pink logo  fits well into the home page and all the colour scheme are perfect. There are only a few links, which makes it easy to navigate to the topic of one’s choice. It is simplicity and easy navigation that comes with a beautiful design and lay out. The page is also not crowded, which means more visibility of the links.

Content

The Search tab is prominently displayed, which makes the search easier. Well, an account has to be created before many of the features like uploading and sharing of pictures can be availed. But no need of an account for searching the pictures.

The “Explore” link is s great place to explore all of Flickr. The Explore has works of the great and the good of flickr world. The pictures are classified according to the most recent uploads, last 7 days interesting, calendar, places, tags and a lot more.

www.flickr.com has many added features like Tags, Sets, Groups, Notes, Comments and Interestingness. Tag helps in sorting out and searching the photos. Sets is a folder where one can set the photos according to interest or theme. In the Groups, one can come across people who share the same interests. Here people can share their photos in the group’s photo POOL.

There are great many features that come with uploading a picture. In the “Notes”,  a part of the photo ca be highlighted and a comment attached to it and it is visible when the cursor is placed over the picture.

Interestingness is an added feature that comes with www.flickr.com.  It is a place where the photos can be arranged by interestingness in the popular section and the most interesting ones’ on flickr appear in the explore section.

Uploading is very easy and there is a basic web form for uploading photos. Five different ways are available for uploading photos. The editing of photos is also easy with very easy steps. The “Organize” helps in grouping photos and videos around certain themes. Then there is the geotagging, which helps in arranging the various sets and collections.
