The consulting agency has dubbed these countries as BRICI and according to the report they account for 45 percent of the world’s population and also 15 percent of the global GDP (gross domestic product).

Unlike the other countries of the world like UK and US, these countries don’t have the internet access available to all homes, according to the report “Personal computers are much less prevalent than mobile devices in the BRICI countries — and play nowhere near the role in catalyzing digital consumption that mobile devices and Internet cafes do”.

It has been stated that if the price of internet access will go down and the network access will get diversified then the number of internet users will also increase. The report further stated that “As digital consumption moves into the mainstream of BRICI society over the next few years, the online habits of the current generation of digital consumers will form the digital-market ecosystems that will be in place for generations to come”.

According to the company “We expect to get some hands on time with the three new versions of the Sony Reader set to be revealed at IFA”, the company has also claimed that they will bring more clarity in their eBooks that are going to get released in Berlin.

This is known to everyone that Sony was the first company that brought this successful concept of e-Readers but nowadays some major competitors like Apple and Amazon are also progressing well in this category with their iPad and Kindle respectively.

Steve Haber, president of Sony’s digital reading unit discussed that “Lowering prices to get cheaper and cheaper — that’s not our direction. Our plan is not to race to the bottom” and further “People stepped up and spent another $100 to buy touch”.

The highly awaited Android 2.2 for different Android phones is nowadays getting different news; some platforms have announced it for their phones while the others have delayed their plans. Orange is one of those platforms which is making its users to wait some more for the Android 2.2, the company has recently announced on Twitter that the Android 2.2 lovers have to wait longer to get this update on their HTC Desire handsets.

The statement which came from company’s side says that “Android fans: there has been a delay in receiving the 2.2 Froyo update from HTC, and we now expect it to be available mid-September. Apologies”.  The wait may be of some more weeks but it’s really disappointing one because the Android 2.2 is something for which the Android users are desperately waiting.

Sam Cinquegrani, CEO of Wave Technology Group said that “Making an emergency call for a patient in need is one of those huge unprecedented wins from this technology”. This thing has been reported that the Wave software engineers are collaborating in this project with staffers from University of Chicago Hospital’s Pediatric Epilepsy Center.

It has been notified that almost 3 million people in US have epilepsy and some of the cases are quite severe that patients could have seizures a day. According to Cinquegrani “Some people are in danger of dying from it”.

A small prototype has been developed that includes a small 16 channels amplifier and it would be attached via sensors to the patient’s head. The Wave technology is really working for a very fantastic device and if it gets successful then it would be a great help for the epileptic patients.
