The online travel industry has been thriving for quite some time and there are a large number of sites that making online competition quite tough with every passing day. Sources like Travelzoo, Kayak, Expedia and various other sites that have their own platforms and user bases to offer deals and packages.

But the thing which makes DealBase a really unique is its functionality that is quite well known as Deal Analyzer that allows users to compare regular prices with deal prices and it also shows rating for the deal which makes it a lot easier for the travel to get the right deal.

According to DealBase CEO Sam Shank, around 15% available deals have negative deals.

Farecast, another such site that focuses on deals for air travels, hotels and it also has the feature to judge the prices from original hotels prices. The basic difference between Microsoft owned Farecast and DealBase is that the searches are not limited only to packages and deals in Farecast while special promotions for hotels and deals are listed by DealBase.
