Choose the right service station for buying gas

Believe it or not, but performance of your car is very much depending upon the quality of the gas. It is highly advisable that you should buy gas at reputed service stations only.

Check the following few important points before you buy gas:

1.    Ask the person in gas station if the gas which you are buying is filtered at the pump or not.

2.    Also check whether they have the policy to change the pump filters on a routine basis.

3.    Do not buy gas if they don’t have pump filters, it will make you more susceptible to a dirty and contaminated gasoline.

4.    Many stations may not add alcohol or do not fuel appropriately.

5.    Find a reliable gas station and try stick to it.

6.    Try not to fill gas on the service stations if you see the tankers. Tankers show that the station has been filled by gas very recently.

7.    When the underground tanks of the gas station are filled, it is quite possible that there is a disturbance which has stir up the sediments which is undesirable.

8.    Gas with the sediment will clog the fuel injectors and the fuel filters. This will lead to poor performance of your car. As a result your car will need regular repair works.
