You will soon be able to watch an array of live TV shows on various handsets, as BBC is soon going to launch a Live TV service for your cell phones and the beta launch of this service has already been announced.
The new service has been named as Live TV and it will offer you different show in 176×144 pixels if you can get connected with some Wi-Fi network.
Content from all major BBC channels like BBC News, BBC Parliament, CBBC, BBC One to Four and CBeebies have been made available from this service. Similarly, you will also be able to listen to live radio channels of the broadcaster.
According to BBC, the license to all programs has not been received yet, and many imported shows and live sport event that is not available now.
Your handset can support the service if it is enabled to Wi-Fi that is available in most mid to high range cell phone devices you can see in the market now.
You will also need a license of a full colour TV set to watch this available these days as well as your handset must also has an in-built media player.
The broadcaster is also considering expanding Live TV to be workable on 3G in the coming days and also hoping to add some more channels and stations in this service in near future.
