It took its time, but at last the customized remix of E71 and E71x are being directly offered to AT&T website, we got some hints of it nearly a month back, and now the carrier is offering it in $99.99 on contract after rebate that is not less than a real steal for a sexy and appealing cell phone like this. It’s, indeed, a great device with a nice all-metal shell, HSDPA, full QWERTY, 3.2mp camera and WiFi. Let’s explore further what it has for you and what not.

E71xWho is there that doesn’t search, surf and shop on the WWW and its HTML browser will allow to get full access to different html based websites. It also has a voice- guided GPS that allows you to make driving directions searches and many other things, but with some additional charges.

For messaging, you can get Instant Messaging support for Windows Live, AOL and Yahoo! Messengers.

It’s a 3G phone that allows you to have faster and richer browsing streaming media and email. The 3.2mp camera with playback and Live video capture capability is also awesome. The featured music player supports different formats including MP3, WAV, AAC, Real, WMA and AT&T Mobile Music.

If you want to access personal email and other such stuff, its Xpress Mail allows you to have access to your Outlook Lotus, Yahoo!, and AOL, Notes, Mail and a lot more stuff. It also has an array of cool tools for card, racing puzzle, games and sports.

Last year Nokia E71 blew off the market with an affordable, dashing smart phone. Since then, AT&T has picked up the phone for its own, subsidized offering, and the Nokia E71x is available now from AT&T for only $99.99 .
New phone has long list of improvements, but when looking at user reviews the camera quality is a problem.
Some tests were conducted and here goes the details “every shot, the camera either focused incorrectly on the background image instead of the foreground subject, or, when there was no background, it simply didn’t focus at all. If there is auto focus on this camera, it’s hard to tell, and the phone doesn’t use a two-stage button to help you lock in an image, like all good cameras and AF-capable phones”. Do anyone have an answer to that?.
