From the start of New Year Intel revealed its own application store for the laptop industry, this was basically an atom application store in beta version which was expected to be released as a built in feature in the future laptops and with that the installation facility for this application store will also be available for the users.
Just after some months of the release of the App store Asus has earned the status of being the first company that is bringing this store in its net books, the Asustek computer will be the first computer that will put on the Intel’s AppUp application store in its coming laptops.
According to the statement provided by Intel “Asus will be the first OEM to ship a pre-installed, customized AppUp client called “Asus App Store” on netbooks this fall, beginning with Windows and following with MeeGo-based systems”.
The application store by Intel was a good try to beat the already developed Apple’s and Google’s application stores but up till now the Intel application store has some limitations being a new comer but it can be expected that it will be able to become a tough competitor to the other application stores very soon.
