A Fair Comparison

The most prominent enhancement in the new iPhone 5 is in its weight and size. It is 20% lighter and 18% thinner than its predecessor. It weighs only 112 g. The Apple A 6 chip is boasted  by the company to be faster than 4S A5 chip. Also, it runs on iOS 6. While, 4S currently runs on iOS 5.1.1 but it can be upgraded to iOS 6 when it comes on Septemeber 19th. The display is amazing. The iPhone4S features a 3.5 inches (89 mm)  display diagonally while you can enjoy good quality graphics on a 4-inch Retina display with 326 ppi. The storage capacity on both the Smartphones is great. Both come in three storage sizes i-e 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The unique feature is the support for 4G LGE network on the new iPhone 5. It would also support HSPA+, DC-HSDPA. The 8-Megapixel Camera lens now offers improved HDR and PhotoStream sharing. The battery is generally the same on both phones with 8 hours of talk time on the 3G network. In terms of pricing, its almost the same; only the16 GB version’s price is a bit more.
