Apple uncovers its new Mac mini and iMac

Aside from its new Mac Pros, Apple has also updated its line of consumer desktop adding a nice and more energy efficient Mac mini as well as a new iMac. The new Mac mini is being claimed a nice machine with improved integrated graphics.

All these machines will house fast and furious Intel Core2 Duo 3.06GHz processors and almost double amount of memory that you have found in any other previous iMac version. It also available with DDR3 memory, but as usual, the upgrade prices are awesomely high.

According to Apple’s claims this relaunched Mac mini is the most energy-efficient desktop available in the market these days. It draws less than 13watts of power when it is idle.

Just like new MacBook line, the Mac mini has the same powerful Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics. It has two basic models and joins a 2GHz Core 2 Duo chip with 320GB HDD and 4GB RAM.

The 20-inch model of the iMac has the price tag of £949 and it houses a 2.66 GHz Intel Core2 Duo processor, a 320GB HD, 2GB memory and the 9400M integrated graphics.

The top of the line 24” model has the price tag of £1,199 price tag for its 3.06Ghz processor, 4GB memory and 1TB HD. It also houses a Mini DisplayPort connector.
